Unwind the belt slowly and smoothly and ensure that the buckle 2 locks into the catch 3 (check that it is locked by pulling on the buckle 2).
Unlocking
Press the button on the catch 3 and the seat belt will be rewound by the inertia reel. Guide the belt.
warning
Check that the rear seat belts are positioned and operating correctly each time the rear seats are moved.
Lap belts with manual adjustment
The strap should be worn flat over your thighs and against your pelvis.
The seat belt must be worn as close to the body as possible. e.g. avoid wearing heavy clothing, keeping bulky objects under the belts, etc.
To tighten it, pull free section 6 of the seat belt.
To slacken it, move the adjusting buckle 4 so it is perpendicular to the belt and press the buckle while pulling the lap belt 5.
warning
Incorrectly adjusted or twisted seat belts may cause injuries in the event of an accident.
Use one seat belt per person, whether child or adult.
Even pregnant women should wear a seat belt. In this case, ensure that the lap belt is not exerting too much pressure on the abdomen, but do not allow any slack.
Special note for versions fitted with a rear bench seat with three seats.
This version differs in that it has rear seatbelts and headrests on the rear side seats only. Never seat a passenger in the centre seat area.
The label A informs you that it is prohibited to seat passengers in areas other than the seats provided.
warning
Check that the rear seat belts are positioned and operating correctly each time the rear seats are moved.
