Front passenger door foot panel
Depending on the vehicle, the sliding side door is fitted with a manual or electric foot panel to facilitate entry to and exit from the vehicle.
Manual foot panel 1
Remove the manual foot panel 1from its protective cover located at the feet of the front passenger, then insert the rods 2 into the holes 3.
warning
Before driving the vehicle, make sure you have retracted the manual foot panel.
Electric foot panel 4
The electric foot panel 4 is deployed when the front passenger door is opened and is retracted when it is closed.
Note:
- ensure that nobody is in the vicinity when you deploy the foot panel;
- For your safety, the foot panel stops moving as soon as it encounters an obstacle. To allow it to continue deploying, close and then open the passenger door to redeploy the foot panel.

In some conditions (in freezing temperatures, mud etc.), ensure that the foot panel is not slippery.
Risk of injury.

Always ensure that the electric foot panel is deployed before exiting.
Access handle 5
The access handle 5 makes it easier to get in or out of the vehicle.
Sliding side door foot panel
The sliding side door is fitted with a foot panel 6 to facilitate entry to and exit from the vehicle. It extends when the sliding side door is opened and retracts when it closes.
Note:
- ensure that nobody is in the vicinity when you deploy the foot panel;
- For your safety, the foot panel stops moving as soon as it encounters an obstacle. If the foot panel stops moving, close and then open the sliding side door to redeploy the foot panel.

Note: as soon as a foot panel is deployed, a warning light 7 illuminates and stays on the instrument panel and, if the vehicle moves, a beep sounds.
Access bars 8
The access bars 8 make it easier to get in or out of the vehicle.
Operating faults
If one of the foot panels is blocked, turn the knob 9 behind the blocked foot panel to deploy it or retract it.
Assisted manual ramp
warning
To prevent any risk of injury when handling the ramp, ensure that nobody is located near the moving parts. Also check that nothing may obstruct the moving parts and their locking mechanism (body parts, animal, gravel, cloths, toys, etc.).
tip
To deploy and use the ramp properly, it is recommended that you park on flat ground and make sure you have enough space behind the vehicle (no pavement, lamp post, etc.).
Deployment
With the rear hinged doors open, detach the retaining strap 10. Unfold the ramp using one of the handles 11 until the ramp is in position B.
Pull one of the handles 12 until you reach position C.
Folding
Lift up the ramp by pulling one of the handles 11 until it is in position A. Then attach the retaining strap 10.
tip
If you close the rear hinged doors without attaching the retaining strap 10, a beep will sound until the strap is fastened.
Maintenance
Inspect and clean the access ramp regularly to ensure it works properly.
Access handles
The access handles 13 make it easier to get in or out of the vehicle.
Lifting platform

Winch
Depending on the vehicle, a winch is present in the vehicle and makes it easier for passengers in wheelchairs to get in and out. For more information on the winch, please see the equipment user manual.

The use of the winch is only intended to assist a passenger in a wheelchair to get in and out of the vehicle.
Under no circumstances must it be used to lift or secure objects or people.
