" Driving assistance " menu

From the main menu, press "Settings" then the "Vehicle" tab. This menu enables you to set up the driving aids.

Some settings have to be modified while the engine is running in order for them to be stored by the multimedia system.

For safety reasons, carry out these operations when the vehicle is stationary.

"Display mode"

When you select a view mode 1, you can choose interactive mode 10 or list mode 11 which allows you to view all "Driving assistance".

Select the button for the option you would like to activate or deactivate.

« Traffic sign »

This function assists you during your journeys, informing you of the speed limit in place, high-risk areas and hazard areas using:

  • a display on the multimedia screen and the instrument panel;
  • an audible warning.

« Overspeed sound alert »

This function detects any speed limit excess and warns the driver by displaying a warning on the instrument panel along with a sound warning. Select "ON" to activate this function.

"Speed limit change notification"

This function warns the driver with an audible alert when the speed limit changes. Select ON to activate this function.

« Risk area display »

This function notifies the driver via the instrument panel when they enter a hazard area or a high-risk area. Select "ON" to activate this function.

Note: services must be activated in order to display the risk areas Activating services.

« Risk area sound alert »

This function notifies the driver via a sound warning when they enter a hazard area or a high-risk area.

Select "ON" to activate this function.

Note: if "Risk area display" is deactivated, the "Risk area sound alert" function is automatically deactivated.

« Vigilance »

This function detects any reduction in the driver's reactivity. It takes into account sudden and random movements on the steering wheel, the frequency of the lane departure warning and non-stop driving over two hours.

This function notifies the driver via a sound warning and by displaying a warning message on the instrument panel advising the driver to take a break.

Select "ON" to activate this system. For further information, please refer to the "Fatigue detection warning" section in the vehicle user manual.

« ALL ON »

When the "ALL ON" mode is activated, all of your safety aids are activated. This mode is activated by default each time the vehicle is started.

The "ALL ON" function can also be activated by pressing once on your vehicle control.

Note: when "ALL ON" mode is activated, no settings are available. You have to switch to "Perso" mode to access the various settings.

« Perso »

When "Perso" mode is activated, the safety aids that you have configured and customised are enabled.

The "Perso" function can also be activated by pressing twice on your vehicle control.

« Lane » (Lane assist settings)

This system notifies the driver when they accidentally cross a continuous or broken line.

You can adjust the intensity of the steering wheel vibrations (and audible warning volume, depending on equipment), as well as the sensitivity of the lane departure warning.

For further information, please refer to the "Lane Keep Assist" section in the vehicle user manual.

"Lane departure prevention"

This system notifies the driver when they accidentally cross a continuous line.

"Operations on broken lines"

This system notifies the driver when they accidentally cross a broken line.

Note: in order for it to operate on a broken line, the function cannot be activated if the lane departure prevention function is deactivated.

« Active braking »

"Active braking": this function notifies the driver if there is a risk of collision. Select "ON" to activate this function. You can select the "Active braking" warning sensitivity as required:

  • « Early » ;
  • « Standard » ;
  • « Late ».

"Advanced safety"

(depending on equipment)

This system consists of the following functions:

  • « Active braking » ;
  • "Emergency Lane Keep Assist": this function alerts the driver and corrects the vehicle trajectory in the event:
    • a roadside is breached;
    • there is a risk of collision with a vehicle coming from the opposite direction in an adjacent lane;
    • there is a risk of collision with a vehicle in the blind spot area (depending on the equipment).

« Blind spot alert »

This function notifies the driver when another vehicle is in their blind spot. Select "ON" to activate this function. For further information, please refer to the "Blind spot warning" section in the vehicle user manual.

« Following distance »

This function notifies the driver if they are too close to another vehicle. Select "ON" to activate this function. For further information, please refer to the "Safe distance alert" section in your vehicle user manual.

Pop-up menu

From the pop-up menu 5 you can reset the default settings for each menu.
