Safety components
For your safety, the following items are present in your vehicle:
- yellow strips on each side of the ramp;
- non-skid floor on the ramp and the tray.
Emergency components
On equipped vehicles, the emergency exit system to the rear is located on the left-hand side of the tailgate door inside the vehicle. It enables the tailgate to be opened from inside the vehicle and is to be used only in exceptional circumstances.
To use it, pull the unlocking handle 1.

Depending on the vehicle, you have a spare wheel placed in its cradle. To remove the spare wheel, open the flap 3, turn the component 4 to the left to release the wheel and remove the cover 5. To refit the wheel in its cradle, proceed in the reverse order.
Note: the emergency spare wheel or damaged wheel must always be placed in the cover and then positioned correctly in its cradle.
Once the spare wheel is released, you will find a jack 6 and a wheelbrace 7. These are fitted in the cradle. To take out the jack and wheelbrace, turn the knob 8 to the left then loosen the straps 9. To refit the jack and the wheelbrace in the cradle, proceed in the reverse order.

Never leave the spare tyre, damaged wheel and tools in the vehicle unless stored. There is a risk they may become projectiles during braking. After use, make sure to replace the spare wheel or the damaged wheel in the cover 5 and in its cradle, then position the tools correctly in the cradle. Risk of injury. The jack is designed for wheel changing purposes only. Under no circumstances should it be used for carrying out repairs underneath the vehicle or to gain access to the underside of the vehicle.
