Fitting the locking rods for the tri-tipper

warning

Never lock the tipping flatbed on two diagonally opposite points.

Use only original pins.

Risk of damage to the flatbed and chassis.

Before raising or lowering the tipper, insert the rods into their housings.

Tri-directional tipper tilting direction

To change the tri-directional tipper tilting direction, fit the spheres:

  • 2 and 3 to tilt to the rear A;
  • 1 and 2 to tilt to the left B;
  • 3 and 4 to tilt to the right C.

Fit the locking rod for spheres 1 and 3

To fit a rod on the corresponding yoke:

  • position the rod 5 opposite the inlet hole on the corresponding yoke 6, with the foolproofing device facing downwards;
  • insert the rod all the way in;
  • fit the pin 7;
  • release the rod and check that it is held securely by the pin 7.

Fit the locking rod for spheres 2 and 4

To fit a rod on the corresponding yoke:

  • position the rod 5 opposite the inlet hole on the corresponding yoke 8, with the foolproofing device facing downwards;
  • insert the rod all the way in;
  • fit the pin 7;
  • release the rod and check that it is held securely by the pin 7.

Tilting the flatbed

With the vehicle stationary, engine running, apply the handbrake.

Move the battery isolation lever 1 to position B (ON).

Remove the remote control 2 from its housing.

tip

Do not drive with the flatbed raised.

To lift the flatbed

Press button 3.

To lower the flatbed

Press button 4.

Remote control fuse

If the remote control malfunctions, check and change the 5 (5 A) fuse if necessary.

tip

Due to the limited accessibility of the fuse, we advise you to have this fuse replaced by an approved dealer.

Precautions to take during flatbed raising or lowering operations

When raising or lowering the flatbed, the gear lever must be in neutral and the handbrake applied.

Raise the flatbed only on flat, stable and horizontal ground.

Make sure the flatbed is relieved of its load before putting it on a stay.

Never position yourself under the lifted flatbed without using the stay.

When the flatbed lowering manoeuvre is complete, return the battery isolation lever 1 to position A (OFF).

Do not use the control unit in the flatbed movement area.
