Front seat belt reminder warning light

If, after the engine is started, the driver's or front passenger's (if applicable) seat belt is not correctly in position and the vehicle has reached approximately 12 mph (20 km/h), this light will appear on the instrument panel and a beep will sound for about two minutes.

Note: an object placed on the passenger seat may activate the warning light in certain cases.
