Front doors
Opening from the outside
With the doors unlocked Locking, unlocking the opening elements and doors, hold handle 1 and pull it towards you.
Opening from the inside
With the door unlocked, pull the handle 2.
warning
As a safety precaution, the doors should only be opened/closed when the vehicle is stationary.
Lights-on reminder audible alarm
If you have left the lights on after switching off the ignition, a reminder buzzer will sound when the driver’s door is opened (to prevent discharge of the battery, etc.).
Special feature
Depending on the vehicle, accessories (e.g. radio) stop working either when the engine is switched off or when the doors are locked, or when the driver’s door is opened.
Door or luggage compartment lid open buzzer
Depending on the vehicle, this alarm is fitted to the driver's side door or on all opening elements.
When the vehicle is stationary with the ignition on, the
warning light is displayed on the instrument panel accompanied, depending on the vehicle, by the 3 graphic indicating the opening element(s) (door, luggage compartment) that is/are open or incorrectly closed.
While driving, as soon as the vehicle reaches 12 mph (20 km/h), a warning light
comes on with an audio beep.
Sliding side door
Opening from the outside
Unlock the door and pull handle 4, then slide the door towards the rear of the vehicle until it locks in position. To unlock the doors Key, remote control.
tip
Sliding side door (fuel filler cap side)
Depending on the vehicle, opening the fuel filler flap prevents the sliding side door Locking, unlocking the opening elements and doors from opening fully.
Child safety
(depending on the vehicle)
To make it impossible for the sliding side doors to be opened from the inside, use the key to turn the bolt 5 and close the door.
Check from the inside that all the doors are locked.
The door can only be opened from the outside of the vehicle.
Opening from the inside
Pull the handle 7 and slide the door towards the rear of the vehicle until it locks in position.
Closing from the inside
Push handle 6 towards the front of the vehicle until the door is completely closed.
Manual locking
With the 8 button in the unlocked position, turn it towards the front of the vehicle (movement A).
Manual unlocking
With the button 8 in the locked position, turn it towards the rear of the vehicle (movement B).

Recommendations concerning the sliding side door
The following precautions must be taken when opening and closing the doors or any other opening element:
- check that no person, animal or object is at risk of being harmed when you perform this manoeuvre;
- never use anything except the handles on the inside and outside of the door to operate it;
- take care when opening and closing the door;
- caution: when the vehicle is parked on a slope, open the door with care until it is fully open and latches into its locking position;
- always ensure that the sliding door is properly closed each time the vehicle is moved;
- do not use the lower support as a step.
Rear hinged doors
Opening the large door
Unlock the door and pull handle 9. To unlock the doors Key, remote control.
warning
Do not leave the hinged rear doors open in case of strong winds. Risk of injury.
Opening the small door
Move the lever 10 to open the small door.
warning
If the vehicle is parked on the hard shoulder with the tailgate open, the rear lights may be obscured. You should make other road-users aware of your vehicle by using a warning triangle or other equipment specified by the road traffic regulations of the country concerned.
Opening the doors to the maximum position
For each door, pull handle 11 to release the door check strap. Open the door as far as possible.
Locking manually from the outside
First close the small door and then close the large door.
Position each door so that it is almost closed and then slam shut.
Manual locking
If the remote control does not work, you can manually lock the rear doors.
With the large door open, turn the bolt 12 (using a tool such as a flat-blade screwdriver) and close the door. This means that the door is then locked from the outside.
The door can only be opened from inside the vehicle by pressing the unlocking switch or with the radio frequency remote control.

Driver's responsibility when parking or stopping the vehicle
Never leave an animal, child or adult who is not self-sufficient alone in your vehicle, even for a short time.
They may pose a risk to themselves or to others by starting the engine, activating equipment such as the electric windows or by locking the doors.
Also, in hot and/or sunny weather, please remember that the temperature inside the passenger compartment increases very quickly.
