Renault Kangoo
Information about the vehicle
Free space
It is essential to allow free space in front of, behind and above the head of the person in the wheelchair:
- The rear grey area (RCZ) is measured from the point furthest back from the head of the occupant. It is approximately 400 mm;
- The front grey area (FCZ) is measured from the point furthest forward from the occupant's head and must be at least 650 mm using a 3-point anchorage seat belt such as the shoulder belt provided in this vehicle;
- The height range for the head in the seated position (HHT) goes from approximately 120 cm for a short person to approximately 150 cm for a taller adult.
The rigid components of the vehicle that are located inside these areas must be covered with padding that meets the requirements regarding the hardness of materials, as specified by the FMVSS201 standard, the UN/ECE 21 regulation or UE directive 74/60.

Replacement parts and repairs
Original parts are based on very stringent specifications and are subjected to specific tests. Therefore, they are of at least the same level of quality as the parts fitted originally. If you always fit genuine replacement parts to your vehicle, you will ensure that it performs well. Furthermore, repairs carried out in the approved dealer network with original parts are guaranteed according to the conditions stated on the back of the repair order.
