In manual mode, obstacle detection is not activated. Always make sure that there are no obstacles present (e.g. no height constraint (presence of a roof), no contact with a pavement kerb or any other obstacle) when altering the height of the vehicle's rear axle.
Risk of damage to the vehicle.
In manual mode, the:
- maximum height of the rear axle is approximately 20 mm higher than the preset high position and approximately 50 mm higher than the standard driving position (measured at the wheel);
- the minimum height is similar to the preset low position (measured at the wheel).
With the vehicle stationary and the engine running, press the button 4 on the remote control for approximately five seconds to activate manual mode. Button 4 lights up and unlocks the use of the manual raising 3 and lowering 5 control buttons.
tip
In manual mode, the height of the rear axle may vary by approximately 20 mm, depending on the vehicle's load.
Raising the vehicle in manual mode
With button 4 activated, press the button 3 to raise the vehicle to the desired height. Button 3 flashes while the vehicle is being raised and stays lit in green once the maximum height is reached.
Lowering the vehicle in manual mode
With button 4 activated, press the button 5 to lower the vehicle to the desired height. Button 5 flashes while the vehicle is being lowered and stays lit in green once the minimum height is reached.
Exiting manual mode
To exit manual mode, press button 1, 2 or 7 for approximately five seconds.
Operating condition: when the vehicle speed is above approximately 3 mph (5 km/h), the system will exit manual mode and automatically return to the standard driving position.
