Diesel engine speed

When driving, to avoid damaging the engine, never let the engine speed exceed 4,500 rpm, regardless of which gear is engaged.

To release

Pull the lever 6 upwards slightly, press the button 5 and lower the lever to the floor.

Applying the electronic parking brake

With the vehicle stationary, the electronic parking brake can be used to immobilise the vehicle:

Selector lever 1

P: parking

Selecting reverse gear

Vehicles with a manual gearbox:

With the vehicle stationary, move the gear lever into neutral then into reverse.

The card must be in the detection zone 1.

To start:

Ignition switch

"Stop and steering lock applied" position A

To lock: remove the key 1 and turn the steering wheel until the steering column locks.
