The Active emergency braking system (AEBS) alerts the driver of a potential collision
risk with pedestrians, cyclists, or vehicles, enabling appropriate emergency maneuvers
such as pressing the brake pedal or turning the steering wheel, while providing warnings
through sound, images, and braking to facilitate these emergency actions.
Depending on the reactivity of the driver, the system can assist with braking in order to
limit damage or prevent a collision.
