If the vehicle is parked on the hard shoulder with the rear dropside open, the rear
lights may be obscured.
You should make other road users aware of your vehicle by using a warning triangle
or other equipment specified by the road traffic regulations in the relevant country.
It consists of a chassis (also called sub-chassis or false chassis), attached to the
chassis of the vehicle, on which the flatbed and the platform are assembled with the
side boards open, thus permitting material to be unloaded to the right, to the left
and/or to the rear.
