Fuse box

If any electrical component does not work, check the condition of the fuses.

Fuses in the passenger compartment A

Unclip the flap 1.

tip

To comply with current legislation, or as a precaution, you can obtain an emergency kit containing a set of spare bulbs and fuses from your Approved Dealer.

Unclip the flap 2.

Disconnect the fuse using pliers 3, located on the back of the flap or, depending on the vehicle, in the fuse box.

To remove the fuse from the puller, slide the fuse to the side.

It is not advisable to use the free fuse locations.

Check the fuse in question and, if necessary, replace it (replacement fuse must have the same rating as the original.

If a fuse is fitted with too high a rating, it may cause the electrical circuit to overheat (risk of fire) in the event of an item of equipment using an excessive amount of current.

Fuses in the engine compartment C

Some functions are protected by fuses located in the engine compartment (unit C).

However, because of their reduced accessibility, we advise you to have your fuses replaced by an approved Dealer.

Please note when working close to the engine that it may be hot. The engine cooling fan may also start at any moment. The 2_ALL_290_1_pictogramme.png label in the engine compartment reminds you of this.
