WARNING
RISK OF DEATH OR SERIOUS INJURY: before installing a rear-facing child seat on the front passenger seat, ensure that the airbag is deactivated (see "Child safety: deactivating, activating the front passenger airbag" in Section 1 of the vehicle user manual).

Check that your child is always strapped in and that the harness or seat belt is correctly adjusted (see the information on "Seat belts" in Section 1 of the vehicle user manual).
If necessary, adjust the seat position accordingly.

WARNING
(1) RISK OF DEATH OR SERIOUS INJURY: before installing a child seat in the front passenger seat, make sure the airbag has been deactivated (refer to the information on "Child safety: front passenger air bag deactivation, activation" in Section 1 of the vehicle user manual).
(2) Position the vehicle seat as far back and as high as possible. Tilt the seatback slightly. Adjust the seat belt guide position to the lowest position. Make sure that the seat belt is fastened correctly after you have adjusted it.
