" Autohold " function

When the vehicle is stationary (e.g. at a red light, an intersection, in a traffic jam, etc.), the function maintains braking force when the driver releases the brake pedal.

The braking force is released as soon as the driver accelerates sufficiently with a gear engaged.

Switching on

Press switch 2.

Indicator light 1 on switch 2 lights up to confirm that the function is enabled.

When the vehicle is stationary, the electronic parking brake can be used to bring the vehicle to a standstill:

For the first 620 miles (1,000 km) do not exceed 80 mph (130 km/h) in the highest gear, or 3,000 to 3,500 rpm.
