Do not climb onto the flatbed using the cycle guards, which are situated on both sides of the platform. Risk of falling or serious injury.

The dropside is heavy. When opening do not let it fall heavily, but hold it whilst lowering.

Platform version

To lower the side dropsides, lift the handles 1 situated on each side of the dropside.

To tilt the rear dropside, lift the handles 2 located on each side of the dropside.

A side step 3 is available when the rear dropside is extended.

Label 4 reminds you that the load on the side step must not exceed 150 kg.

Flatbed version

To lower the side dropsides, lift the handles 5 situated on each side of the dropside.

The rear dropside is opened automatically by tilting the flatbed.

To tilt the rear dropside, lift the levers 6.

Lashing rings

Depending on the vehicle, the lashing rings 7 can be used to retain transported objects.

Universal door

Depending on the vehicle, the universal door 13 allows you to open both doors separately.

Opening the universal door

  1. Check that the hooks 10 are securely locked on the stops 11 of the dropsides.
  2. Position lock 9 horizontally.
  3. Pull the handle 8 to unlock and open both doors.
  4. Lock the tie rods 14 on the stops 12 of the dropsides.

Opening the dropside

To tilt the universal door 13, check that the handle 8 is locked in position A and that the hook 10 is unlocked from the stop 11 of the dropsides.

tip

Before opening the doors, ensure that there is enough space around to allow the doors to be opened.

tip

Do not drive with the doors open. Observe local regulations.

warning

Always position the heaviest items directly on the floor. Use the anchorage points on the floor, if these are fitted to the vehicle. The luggage should be loaded in such a way that no items will be thrown forward and strike the occupants if the driver has to brake suddenly.
