By virtue of its design, moderate fuel consumption and initial settings, your vehicle complies with current anti-pollution regulations. The manufacturer is actively striving to reduce polluting exhaust gas emissions and to save energy. But the fuel consumption of your vehicle and the level of pollutant exhaust gas emissions are also your responsibility. Ensure that it is correctly maintained and used.

Your vehicle has been designed with respect for the environment in mind for its entire service life: during its production, use and at the end of its life.

To release:

Slightly pull the lever 4 upwards, press the button 5 and lower the lever completely downwards.

Applying the Electronic Parking Brake

When the vehicle is stationary, the electronic parking brake can be used to bring the vehicle to a standstill:

• pressing the engine start/stop button 1;

or

Operating conditions such as:

• driving for long periods when the low fuel level warning light is lit;
• using leaded petrol;
• using lubricant or fuel additives that are not approved.

Or operating faults such as:

Automatic gearbox, electronic lever

Selector lever 1

This system enables a reduced fuel consumption and lower greenhouse gas emissions.

The system is activated automatically when the vehicle is started.

While driving, the system stops the engine (standby) when the vehicle is at a standstill (traffic jam, traffic lights, etc).

Conditions for engine standby

The vehicle has set off from where it was parked;

For automatic gearboxes:

Starting the engine

The card must be inserted in the reader zone 2.

Starting the engine:

"Off" position A

"Ignition" position B

The ignition is on and the engine can be started.

"Drive" position D

If the engine fails to start at the first attempt, turn the key back before activating the starter again.
