Advice on use

In some situations, (air conditioning off, air recirculation activated, ventilation speed at zero or low, etc.) you may notice that condensation starts to form on the windows and windscreen.

Depending on the vehicle, if condensation is present you can use the "Clear View" function to remove it. To prevent condensation from reappearing, the system keeps the air conditioner activated after the "Clear View" function is switched off.

Operating principle

Ultrasonic sensors, indicated by arrows 1, are installed on the rear bumper to measure the distance between the vehicle and an obstacle when the vehicle is moving in reverse.

This measurement is indicated by beeps which become more frequent the closer you come to the obstacle, until they become a continuous beep when the vehicle is approximately 30 centimetres from the obstacle. Stop as soon as possible, according to traffic conditions.

If installed on the vehicle, the four cameras 1, 2 and 3 on the front bumper, the door mirrors and on the luggage compartment door help during difficult manoeuvres.

Operation

When reverse gear is engaged, the camera 1 shows a view of the area behind the vehicle on the multimedia display 2, accompanied by two moving or fixed guide lines 3 and 4.
