Front headrests

Raising the headrest

Press the button 2 and pull the headrest upwards to the required height. Check that the bonnet is correctly locked.

Lowering the headrest

Press button 2 and guide the headrest down to the desired height. Check that the bonnet is correctly locked.

To remove the headrest

Lift it up to the maximum height (tilting the seatback to the rear if necessary). Press the button 2 and raise the headrest to release it.

To refit the headrest

Check that the headrest rods 3 are clean.

Insert the headrest rods into the openings 1 (tilt the seatback backwards if necessary). Lower the headrest as far as possible and then press the button 2 to adjust it to the desired height. Check that each rod 3 is locked in the backrest.

The headrest is a safety component. Ensure that it is fitted and in the correct position at all times when driving: the top of your head should be in line with the top of the headrest. The distance between your head and the headrest A should be as short as possible.

Front seats with manual controls

To move the seat forwards or back

Lift and hold the lever 1 to unlock the seat. When the seat is in the required position, release the lever and check that the seat is securely locked.

To raise or lower the seat

(depending on the vehicle)

Move lever 2 up or down as many times as necessary to reach the desired position.

To tilt the seatback

Lift the lever 3 and tilt the seat to the desired position. Release the lever when the desired position is reached and check that it is securely locked.

Lumbar adjustment

(depending on the vehicle)

Move lever 4 to increase or decrease the support.

After adjustments, make sure that the seat backrests are correctly locked in place.

For safety reasons, carry out adjustments while the vehicle is stationary.

We would advise you not to recline the seatbacks too far to ensure that the effectiveness of the seat belts is not reduced.

Make sure that the seatbacks are correctly locked in place.

There should be no objects on the floor (area in front of the driver), as these can slide under the pedals during sudden braking manoeuvres, which may obstruct use.

Front seats with electric controls

Depending on the vehicle, the driver's front seat is equipped. Use switch 1 to access the "Seats" menu on the multimedia screen.

Backrest adjustment

To tilt the backrest, flip the top of the switch 2 forward or backward.

To adjust the lumbar support on the driver’s seat

Move switch 3 forward, backward, up or down.

Seat adjustment

To move the seat forward or backward, move the switch 4 forward or backward. To raise or lower the seat cushion, move the back of switch 4 up or down.

Front seats: functions

Depending on the vehicle, the multimedia screen gives access to a series of seat features. On equipped vehicles, switch 1 can be used to directly access the "Seats" menu on the multimedia screen.

"Lumbar activated" function

(depending on the vehicle)

You can activate the "Lumbar activated" function in the driver's seat.

With the ignition on, on the multimedia screen, select the world "Vehicle", , "Seats" and then "Lumbar activated".

Navigate through the "Driver" menu to:

  • select the sequence type ("Low", "Extended", "Alternate");
  • regulate the intensity;
  • enable/disable the massage seat.

Press and hold the switch 1 on the seat to activate the "Lumbar Support Activated" function, according to the set parameters.

You can enable or disable the following elements:

  • Ease of access for the driver;
  • Visual feedback of the movement in progress.

Note: If the user's profile is "Guest", the auto-adjust functions are not available.

Easy access to the seat

When the function is activated

The driver's seat, with the vehicle immobilised:

  • backs off when the door is opened (if the engine is off) or when the engine is turned off (if the door is open);
  • moves forward when the engine is started (if the door is closed) or when the door is closed (if the engine is running);

The seat moves automatically. It is possible to stop the movement by pressing one of the seat adjustment knobs 2, 3 and 4.

Position

It is possible to save the driving position of the driver's seat.

The driving position comprises the seat and seat back adjustments and the exterior mirror adjustments.

In the multimedia system, it is possible to save and recall the driving position by pressing buttons 2 , 3 and 4Front seats with electric controls:

  • when changing the user profile;
  • by pressing the "Call Back" button on the driver's seat;
  • by pressing buttons 4 of the passenger seat.

Storing your driving position

The positions of the exterior mirrors for forward, reverse and for the driver's seat are now stored.

Calling the driving position

For more information on storing the driving position, refer to the multimedia system manual.

It is possible to interrupt the reminder of the stored driving position by pressing one of the seat adjustment buttons 2, 3 and 4.

Before calling up a driving position (position storage, profile change), make sure that there is no one near moving parts (in particular, in the rear seats). Risk of injury.
