To fold down the backrests manually
Ensure that the front seats are far enough forward.
Fully lower the headrest. Rear headrests
Make sure all seat belts are loose and placed in their respective guides A;
Pull the tab 1 and lower the seatback B.

Before moving the seatback, place the seat belt in the belt guide A to avoid damaging it.
To reposition the seatback, proceed in the reverse order.
Return the backrest to its original position and lock it in its holder.

For safety reasons, carry out adjustments while the vehicle is stationary.

When refitting the seatback, make sure it is correctly locked in place.
If seat covers are fitted, make sure these do not prevent the seatback latch from locking in.
Make sure that the seat belts are positioned correctly.
Reposition the headrests.

When moving the rear seats, check that nothing gets in the way of the anchorage points (a passenger's arm or leg, an animal, sand, a cloth, toys, etc.).

Check that the rear seat belts are positioned and operating correctly each time the rear bench seat is moved.

To avoid all risk of injury, ensure that nobody is in the proximity of the moving parts.

Make sure that the seatback is locked in place correctly. If necessary, remove any obstacles behind the seats. Repeat the procedure until the seat is correctly locked.
To automatically fold the backrests
(depending on the vehicle)
Ensure that the front seats are far enough forward.
Fully lower the headrests Rear headrests
Make sure all seat belts are loose and placed in their respective guides A;
Through the boot, pull control 2 or 3 to automatically unlock the rear seat backrests.
Repositioning
To reposition the backrests:
- With the seat still reclined, reposition the belt on the B guides;
- Lift the seat back;
- make sure you lock the seat back in place.
Conditions of use
- Vehicle stopped;
- Boot lid open;
- Rear seat belts unfastened.
Operating faults
If all user conditions have been met and the folding action ceases to operate, contact an authorised dealer.
