Activating the system

When the vehicle is started, the system will return to the last programme used.

The system also works when parked.

Press control 11 to activate the system, or set control 14 to the desired fan speed.

Stopping the system

Press control 14 until you reach the "OFF" position

Switching air conditioning on or off

Control 4 authorises the activation (indicator light on) or deactivation (indicator light off) of the air conditioning.

The system cannot be turned on if ventilation power is zero.

Using the air conditioning system enables you to:

  • lowering the temperature inside the passenger compartment;
  • eliminating condensation more quickly.

Recommendation: To optimise vehicle range, deactivate the air conditioning when the outside temperature is comfortable.

Automatic mode

The automatic climate control system guarantees comfort in the passenger compartment and good visibility (except in the event of extreme conditions), while also optimising fuel consumption.

The system controls the ventilation speed, air distribution, air recirculation, air temperature and starting and stopping of the air conditioning.

This mode consists of choosing three programmes:

AUTO: optimises the selected comfort level in accordance with external conditions. Press the button 11.

SOFT: allows the desired temperature level to be obtained in a smoother and quieter manner. Press button 11, then press down again to activate SOFT mode.

FAST: increases the airflow in the passenger compartment. This mode is recommended to optimise comfort on the rear seats. Press button 11, then press upwards again to activate FAST mode.

When the air conditioning starts in automatic mode, the system will return to the last programme used.

tip

Any action on a button other than button AUTO will trigger the deactivation of automatic mode.

Adjusting the distribution of air in the passenger compartment

Press 8 once or more to select air distribution. The selected air distribution 5 is displayed on the multimedia screen. The positions follow this sequence:

All the air is then directed to the windscreen and front side window demisting vents.

The air flow is distributed between the front side window air vents, the windscreen air vents and the footwell vents.

Adjusting the air temperature

Use controls 7 and 15 to adjust the left and right sides independently.

Adjusting the ventilation speed

In automatic mode, the system uses the most suitable amount of air to reach and maintain the desired comfort level.

You can adjust the fan speed by pressing control 14 to increase or decrease it.

"Quick defog" function.

Press button 13 and the integrated indicator light will come on.

This function enables you to quickly defog the windscreen, rear window, front side windows and exterior mirrors (depending on the vehicle). It automatically activates the rear screen air conditioning and de-icing functions.

To exit this function, press button 11 or 13 again.

tip

Some buttons have an operational light indicating the operating status.

Rear window defogging

Press button 12 and the integrated indicator light will come on. This function allows you to quickly defog the rear window.

To exit this function, press button 12 again. If this is not available, defogging stops automatically.

Function " A / C   MAX "

Push button 9 to activate the function. Turn off mode ECO to get the most out of it.

The "A/C MAX" function allows you to feel the maximum power of the air conditioning system without restriction or compromise related to acoustics, with the sensation of air being very cold on the hands and face.

This function involves automatic modifications:

  • temperature programmed to totally cold;
  • air distribution for the occupants;
  • airflow at full power;
  • activation of air conditioning;
  • air recirculation.

Air recirculation (isolation of the passenger compartment)

tip

Demisting will always take priority over air recirculation.

Manual use

Press button 10 and the integrated indicator light will come on.

Prolonged use of this position may lead to odours, caused by non-renewal of air, and the formation of condensation on the windows.

We therefore advise return to automatic mode as soon as air recirculation is no longer needed, by pressing button 10 again.

To exit this function, press button 10 again.

tip

Prolonged use of recirculation air can lead to condensation on the side windows and windscreen, as well as discomfort due to the lack of fresh air in the passenger compartment. It is therefore recommended to return to normal operation (outside air) as soon as the recirculation function is no longer needed, by pressing button 10 again.
