With the engine off and the vehicle on a flat surface, the level when cold must be between the "MINI" and "MAXI" marks in the coolant reservoir 1.
Top up this level when cold before it reaches the "MINI" mark.
Frequency of checking coolant level
Regularly check the coolant level (very serious damage could be caused to the combustion engine if it runs out of coolant).
If the level needs to be topped up, only use products approved by our Technical Department which ensure:
- anti-freeze protection;
- anti-corrosion protection of the cooling system.

No operations should be carried out on the cooling circuit while the combustion engine is hot.

Replacement interval
Refer to the maintenance document for your vehicle.

The engine must be switched off (not placed in neutral) before any operations are carried out in the engine compartment.
You must switch off the ignition, Ignition switch.

Consult your approved dealer at once if you notice an abnormal or repeated drop in any of the fluid levels.

When working near the combustion engine, please remember that it could be hot. Also, the engine cooling fan could be activated at any moment. The symbol
in the engine compartment reminds you of this.
