Press and hold the up/down of switch 1 to adjust the position of the lumbar support.

When the lumbar support is in the desired position, release the switch.

Note: You can adjust the driver's seat from the menu on the left side of the center screen. Select [Air Conditioning/Seat] -[Seat] 4-[Position] in order, then select the desired button and adjust the seat. (When the air conditioning function is in operation, the [Air Conditioning/Seat] button displays the current set temperature.)

Note: If the seat position adjustment switch is pressed more than 10 times within 10 seconds, operation will be restricted for 20 seconds for safety reasons.

warning

After making adjustments, make sure that the seatbacks are correctly locked in place.

warning

For safety reasons, carry out any adjustments while the vehicle is stationary.

We would advise you not to recline the seatbacks too far to ensure that the effectiveness of the seat belts is not reduced.

Nothing should be placed on the floor (area in front of the driver) as these objects may slide under the pedals during sudden braking manoeuvres, thus obstructing their use.

Seat heating/ventilation

From the menu on the left side of the center screen, select [Air Conditioning/Seat] , then select [Seat] 4, and then select the desired button among heating 5 and ventilation 6.

When you select the seat for which you want to use the function (buttons 7, 8), you can adjust the heating/ventilation intensity from 1 to 3 levels, and the indicator lights for the corresponding level will light up. When you press the seat button and all the indicator lights go out, the function is turned off.

When the center screen is the [Seat] screen, you can set the time (timer) for the heating and ventilation functions of the driver and passenger seats by pressing the [Settings] button at the bottom right.

NOTE: If the heating/ventilation intensity level button on the center screen is pressed more than 15 times within 1 minute, the heating/ventilation will temporarily stop operating for safety reasons. This is a temporary stop for safety mode, not a malfunction, and will resume operation after 5 minutes.

Driver seat memory

The driver seat memory button is located on the driver door trim and can store and recall two positions. The driver can quickly find the comfortable driving position he or she has stored.

Adjust the driver's seat to the desired position. Press the setting button M and then press the memory button 4 or 5 within 3 seconds. The current driver's seat position will be stored.

If you press button 4 or 5 while the vehicle is stationary, the driver's seat will automatically adjust to the previously recorded position.

Do not adjust the seat while driving.

Moving the seat while driving can cause the vehicle to lose control, resulting in a collision and serious injury.

Easy access for the driver's seat

You can turn the driver's easy access function ON or OFF by swiping down the left side of the clock from the top of the center screen to go to [My control] and then selecting [Easy Access]. (Multimedia equipment) When the function is ON,

  • Easy out: When the gear lever is in the P (Parking) position and the driver's door is opened, the driver's seat automatically moves back so that the driver can easily get out.
  • Easy in: When the driver gets into the vehicle and closes the door while the gear lever is in the P (Parking) position, the driver's seat moves back to its original position.

Note: The driver's easy access function may be interrupted due to driver's seat memory or seat adjustment.

Note: The vehicle seat is designed with stretched fabric to improve comfort. The body contact area is curved instead of flat and the side support is raised to increase comfort and stability when riding and driving. Changes in wrinkles, gloss, and texture that occur due to seat use are natural phenomena and are not defects due to product defects.

Warning

warning
  • If liquid such as water is spilled, turn off the ventilation function, wipe off the liquid with a dry towel, and then use it after completely drying.
  • Do not use organic solvents such as thinner, benzene, alcohol, or gasoline when washing the seat. They may damage the ventilation function.
  • Do not place heavy or sharp objects with uneven shapes on the seat.
  • Use the seat heating function in conjunction with the air conditioner heater function if possible. If the heater is turned off and used for a long time, performance may deteriorate.
  • The seat heating function requires a large amount of electric power. Avoid using it when the vehicle is not running to prevent the battery from being discharged.
  • If you want to use the seat heating and ventilation functions alternately, turn off the function you are using first and then use it. Frequently switching between the functions may cause malfunction or deterioration of performance.

Precautions when using the front seat

  • For safety, adjust the seat or heated seat only when the vehicle is stopped. This may cause a traffic accident.
  • If the seat backrest is tilted back too much, the seat belt effect will be reduced. Adjust the seat backrest to an appropriate angle.
  • Be careful not to place any unsecured objects on the driver's seat or the driver's seat floor. If they slip under the driver's pedal while driving, they may interfere with pedal operation and cause serious danger. In particular, do not place anything on the driver's seat floor.
  • When adjusting the angle of the seat backrest, make sure there are no objects interfering with the backrest. If there is interference, the backrest may not be fixed, which may lead to serious injury in the event of an accident.
  • If a cushion is used, the friction between the occupant and the seat is reduced, which may cause the buttocks to slip out below the seat belt in the event of a collision or sudden stop, and in this case, the seat belt may not function properly, which may lead to serious injury. Do not drive with a cushion or other objects on the seat. Do not modify the seat. Do not put your hands or any part of your body into the moving parts of the seat or headrest while adjusting the seat or headrest. You may get unexpected injuries. Also, be careful when putting your hands under the seat to find something that has fallen.
  • There is a risk of low-temperature burns or overheating when using the heated seat for infants, children, the elderly, intoxicated people, or people taking sleeping pills or cold medicine.
  • Be careful of the risk of low-temperature burns when using the heated seat for a long time in the "Continuous" mode.
  • Note: 'Low-temperature burns' are burns caused by heat when the skin is exposed to temperatures of about 40 to 50℃ for a long time. Be careful because you can get burned without feeling much pain or heat.
  • Do not replace the outer material of the seat. This can cause a fire due to damage to the heating function.
  • Be careful because using the heated seat for a long time with a cushion or blanket can cause the system to overheat.
  • Do not leave the heated seat on when no one is inside the vehicle.
  • Do not leave any flammable substances (such as lighters) or electronic devices that operate on lithium ion batteries (such as electronic cigarettes) in the vehicle. In the summer, the temperature inside the vehicle rises, which can cause a fire hazard. Also, if a lighter with an exposed control panel is placed on the floor, the movement of the seat can cause force to be applied to the lighter control panel, which can cause a fire due to gas emissions.
