Position lamp
Turn
ring 2 until the dot aligns with the position lamp symbol. The front
and rear position lamp will turn on and the indicator light on the instrument panel
will illuminate.
Daytime running lights (DRL)
The DRL will automatically turn on during the day when the vehicle is in motion and will turn off when the vehicle is switched off.
Dipped beam headlamp
Manual operation
Turn ring 2
until the dot aligns with the dipped beam headlamp symbol. The dipped beam headlamp
will turn on and the indicator light on the instrument panel will illuminate.
Auto lighting function (if equipped)
Turn ring 2 until the dot aligns with the AUTO symbol to activate it. When the vehicle is in motion, the dipped beam headlamps will automatically switch on or off based on outside brightness.
Main beam headlamp
While the engine is running
and the dipped beam headlamp is on, push lever 1 away from the driver
to turn on the main beam headlamp and the indicator light on the instrument
panel.
Pull lever 1 back to its original position to deactivate the main beam headlamp.
Main beam headlamp flashing
Pull lever 1 towards the driver to flash the main beam headlamp. When released, the lever will return to its original position and the main beam headlamp will turn off.
warning
Before driving at night, check that the electrical equipment is operating correctly and adjust the headlight beams (if your vehicle is not carrying its normal load).
As a general precaution, check that the lights are not obscured (by dirt, mud, snow or objects being transported).
Automatic high/Low beam(AHL)
This feature automatically
turns the main beam headlamps on or off by detecting surrounding vehicles and
oncoming traffic with a camera mounted behind the rearview mirror.
Automatic main beam function ON
Turn ring 2 until the dot aligns with the symbol to activate it. When you released, the ring will automatically return to the AUTO position, and the indicator light will illuminate on the instrument panel.
Once activated, the main beam headlamp will automatically turn on when all of the following conditions are met:
- no other vehicle or lighting is detected;
- the vehicle speed is above approximately 25 mph (40 km/h).
The main beam headlamp will switch back to the dipped beam headlamp when any of the following conditions are met:
- When the vehicle speed is approximately 35 km/h or less
- When another vehicle or light is detected
Automatic main beam function OFF
Pull lever 1 all the way toward the driver or turn ring 2 to a position other than AUTO to deactivate the automatic main beam function.
Operating faults
If automatic lighting checking message appears on the instrument panel, the system is deactivated.
Consult an approved dealer.

The "automatic main beam headlights" system should under no circumstances be used to replace the driver's attention and responsibility with regard to vehicle lighting and adapting to light, visibility and traffic conditions.
The driver must always check the status of the vehicle's lamps according to the traffic conditions.

Features of auto lighting and automatic main beam headlights
The system may encounter difficulties under certain conditions, including:
extreme weather conditions (rain, snow, fog, etc.);
- When there are elements that obscure the windshield and camera, such as light-blocking coatings or roof-loaded cargo;
when a following or oncoming vehicle has weak or hidden lighting;
incorrect settings for the front headlights;
- When reflective objects interfere with the system;
- When the surroundings are bright at night;
- Other.
The on and off times of auto lighting and automatic main beam headlights may vary depending on the climate, season, and surrounding environment.
The automatic dipped beam headlights will turn on due to the auto lighting feature, and if the main beam headlights are activated afterward, they will not turn off automatically even if the outside becomes brighter.
warning
Using a portable navigation system at night in the windscreen area below the camera may disturb the operation of the "automatic main beam headlights" system (risk of reflection on the windscreen).
Switching off the lights
The exterior lamps can be turned off in one of the following ways:
- Turn ring 2 so that the dot aligns with symbol O.
- Turn off the vehicle. (if the Escort function is not activated)
- Lock the vehicle.
Headlamp escort function
This function keeps the dipped beam headlamps and position lamps on for a set duration.
The dipped beam headlamps, position lamps, and indicator lights on the instrument panel swich on simultaneously. The duration (0s, 30s, 60s, 90s) can be set by the user on the center console.
When a door is opened or closed, the timer resets.
A message abot the escort function will appear on the instrument panel, and the user may lock the vehicle at any time.
To turn off the lamps before the set duration ends, turn ring 2 to another position and then back to 0 or AUTO.
Welcome function
If activated, the headlamps, rear lamps, side mirror puddle lights, and interior lights will turn on when the user approaches the vehicle with the key.
You can activate the welcome light function by selecting [Settings] from the menu on the left side of the
center screen
-[Light] in order, and then selecting [Escort/Welcome light].
Or, you can swipe down from the left side of the clock at the top of the center screen to select [My control], and then press [Welcome light] to set the function. Multimedia equipment
