Passenger safety
The driver can prevent the rear windows from being operated by using the window lock buttons 5.
Driver's responsibility
Never leave your vehicle with the key inside, with a child, a dependent adult or a pet, even for a short while.
They may pose a risk to themselves or to others by starting the engine or activating equipment (such as the gear lever or electric windows).
If any part of the body becomes trapped, reverse the direction of the window immediately by pressing the relevant switch.
Risk of serious injury.
■ Manual operation
Press or pull the switch to the 1st position to adjust the window to the desired height. When the switch is released, the window will stops.
■ One-Touch electric windows
Briefly press or pull a window switch as far as it will go: the window will be fully raised or lowered. Pressing the switch again stops the window moving.
From the driver's seat, use switch:
- 1

- 2
Passenger's door window
- 3
Rear right door window
- 4
Rear left door window
- 5
Rear window lock button
Note: if the window detects resistance when almost fully closed (e.g. a tree branch), it stops and then lowers again by a few centimetres.
Avoid resting any objects against a half-open window: there is a risk that the electric window could be damaged. All windows cannot be opened when the vehicle speed exceeds 180 km/h.
From the passenger seat and rear seat, operate switch 6.
■ Rear window lock button
Press button 5 to light the button indicator and deactivate the rear window switches. Press the button again to unlock the rear windows and turn off the indicator.

■ Window anti-pinch function
If the window detects resistance when almost fully closed (e.g. a tree branch), it stops and then lowers again by a few centimetres.
Note: The anti-pinch function may not operate if the top of the window is less than 4 mm from the window frame.
warning
Do not test this function by deliberately trapping any part of your body in the window, as there is a risk of injury.
■ Remote window operation
When the vehicle is turned off and all doors, tailgate, fuel filler cover, and bonnet are closed, pressing and holding the unlock button on the key will open all windows simultaneously. Pressing and holding the lock button on the key will close all windows simultaneously.
warning
Use this function only when the driver can clearly see the vehicle and when no one is inside.
■ Automatic operation in rain
When the vehicle is in sleep mode, with the windows open and the vehicle is locked, it can automatically close the windows if it rains.
Sleep mode is a power-saving feature that turns off all functions, leaving only the minimum current to prevent battery discharge after a certain period when the vehicle ignition is turned off.
■ Time-out automatic operation
If the vehicle is locked for approximately 28 hours with the windows open, it will automatically close the windows.
■Operating faults
If the windows are operated repeatedly in a short period, the operation may stop to protect the motor. Please wait a moment for the function to restored. If necessary, contact an approved Dealer.
warning
When closing the windows, ensure that no part of the body (arm, hand, etc.) is protruding from the vehicle.
Risk of serious injury.
