Pairing, unpairing a phone
By pairing and connecting your mobile phone, you can use phone and other features in the multimedia system. However, no contact copies or personal data will be stored in the multimedia system.
The multimedia system does not support mobile phones with dual SIMs. Adjust the settings on your mobile phone to properly pair it with the multimedia system.
Mobile phone registration screen
You can pair your mobile phone to the multimedia system by pressing A at the top of the home screen.
Note: Some menus will be disabled if the mobile phone is not connected to the multimedia system.

Pairing your phone
To use the hands-free function, you need to pair your bluetooth phone with the multimedia system. Make sure your phone's bluetooth feature is enabled.
For more information on how to activate your phone's bluetooth function, refer to your phone's user manual.
Depending on the model or if required by the system, enter the bluetooth code on your phone to pair it with the multimedia system or confirm the registration request.
Your device might ask for authorization to share contacts, call logs, and media. If you allow sharing, your phone information is available on your multimedia system.
- Select A at the top of the home screen to display the [Bluetooth settings] screen, and then press 8 in [Other devices] to search for your cell phone device.
- If your cell phone is displayed in [Other devices] after device search, select
the cell phone you want to connect.
- Enter the verification code to pair the phone, then tap [Pair device].
- After selecting the phone to pair from [Other devices], it will be paired in [My devices].
- Select the phone features you want to use in the system.
- Phone function 6: Contacts, making and receiving calls, checking call history, etc.
- Music features 5
- Android Auto/Apple CarPlay 4
Note: If a feature is activated, its icon will be displayed in blue.
Note: The system can pair up to 8 mobile phones.
Enrolling additional phones
To add another phone to the system
- Activate the phone's bluetooth connection.
- Select A at the top of the home screen to bring up the [Bluetooth phone connection] popup, then press 8 in sequence to search for the phone to be added.'
- Select the phone you want to connect from [Other devices].
- Depending on the phone model, enter the authentication code requested by the system to authenticate it.
- Press [Pair device] to confirm.
Deleting a phone
To delete a paired phone from the system,
- press A at the top of the home screen and check [Bluetooth phone connection]-[My devices].
- Press the button 3 next to the phone you want to delete to remove the device.

Connecting a mobile phone
If your cell phone is not registered with the system, you can connect it to the hands-free phone system. For more information, see “Pairing, unpairing your phone” on page Pairing, unpairing a phone.
To use all features, your cell phone must be connected to the hands-free phone system.
When you connect your phone, you give the multimedia system access to your phone's features. No copies of any contacts or personal data are stored on your multimedia system.
The system does not manage phones with duaI SIMs. You can adjust your phone's settings to connect your multimedia system correctly.
Note: If your phone is not connected to the multimedia system, some menus are disabled.
Connecting manually
Select [Bluetooth settings] at the top of the home screen to display a list of registered mobile phones.
Make sure the Bluetooth function of the cell phone you want to connect is enabled, and then select the cell phone.
Note: If you make a call while your cell phone is connected, the call is automatically forwarded to the vehicle speakers.
Automatic connection
When the system starts, the hands-free phone system searches for nearby mobile phones with Bluetooth activated. The system automatically downloads data (directory, music, etc.) from the last connected mobile phone.
Note: When a cell phone is automatically connected to the system, data can be downloaded immediately (directory, music, contacts, etc.) only if you have allowed data sharing before registering the phone.
Bluetooth features
To use the mobile phone's functions in the system, you must authenticate data sharing from the list of Bluetooth devices. Once authentication is complete, the list of connected mobile phones will be displayed.
From the displayed list, you can enable or disable the following functions.
- 1
- Phone call
- 2
- Music
Note: When a feature is enabled, the icon for that feature is colored blue.
Note: Some phones may automatically allow data transfer.
Note: Some phones can't activate the music feature unless you include at least one music file.
Changing the connected phone
You can change the connected mobile phone in the system.
Select [Bluetooth settings]-[My devices] from the home screen.
- Select another phone that is registered in my devices.
- Select the features you want to connect on that phone.
Note: To change the connected phone, at least one phone must be registered first.
To disconnect a phone feature
You can disconnect a phone feature from [Bluetooth settings]-[My devices].
Select button 1 of the phone you want to disconnect to disconnect the phone feature.
When the icon turns off, the phone feature is immediately blocked from the system.
Note: If you are in a call when you disconnect, the call is automatically transferred to your cell phone.
