■ "Autohold" function

Vehicle stopped (e.g., at a red light, an intersection, a traffic jam, or on an incline), the function ensures braking force even when the driver releases the brake pedal.

The braking force is released as soon as the driver accelerates sufficiently with gear engaged.

■ Activation

You can activate the [Auto Hold] function by selecting the [Control Center] screen by swiping down from the top of the center screen to the left of the clock from top to bottom, and then activating the [Auto Hold] function. Multimedia equipment When you activate this function, the driver's door closes when the engine is running and the function is activated when the seat belt is fastened.

■ Deactivation

You can deactivate the [Auto Hold] feature from the [Control Center] screen on the center screen.

  • Start the vehicle and close the front seat door, then fasten your seatbelt. Once the auto hold function is activated, if the vehicle speed is 0, you press the brake pedal and the auto hold function is engaged, and if the gear lever is not in the R position, the auto hold indicator light will illuminate on the instrument panel.
  • If you lightly press the accelerator pedal or press the brake pedal more firmly, Park automatically disengages and theauto hold indicator on the instrument panel extinguishes.
  • If Autohold lasts longer than about two minutes, it automatically switches to the electric parking brake and the parking brake light illuminates.

If the driver's seatbelt is not fastened, the parking brake will not be released.

Upon each start-up, the function continues the mode set at the time the engine was last switched off.

Before exiting the vehicle, make sure the parking brake is applied. The indicator light on the instrument panel illuminates to indicate that the parking brake is applied. The indicator and warning lights turn off when the doors are locked.
