To open the bonnet, open a door and pull the 1 handle located on the left-hand side of the dashboard.

The engine may be hot when working in close proximity. In addition, the engine cooling fan can come on at any moment. The symbol
in the engine compartment reminds you of this.

When working in the engine compartment, ensure that the windscreen wiper stalk is in the park position.

Deactivate the remote engine start-up or the engine start-up function before opening the bonnet and while it is open.
Risk of burns or serious injury.

Do not lean on the bonnet as there is a risk that the bonnet may accidentally close.
Unlocking the bonnet catch
To unlock, gently lift the bonnet and push the tab 4 in the direction of the arrow A to release the catch 2.
Opening bonnet
Lift the bonnet and release the stay 7 from the holder 3. For your safety, place it in position 6 indicated by mark 5.
Closing the bonnet
Check that nothing has been left in the engine compartment.
To close the bonnet, hold it in the middle, replace the stay 7 in the holder 3 , then lower the bonnet to 30 cm above the closed position and release it. It will latch automatically under its own weight.

Ensure that the bonnet is properly locked.
Ensure that nothing is preventing locking (grit, cloths, etc.).

After any procedure in the engine compartment, make sure that you have not forgotten anything (cloth, tools, etc.).
Otherwise, this may lead to engine damage or cause a fire.

In the event of even a slight impact involving the radiator grille or bonnet, have the bonnet lock checked by an authorised dealer as soon as possible.
