Changing the service

If you wish to change the contract, the subscriber must follow the change procedure set by the company through the connectivity call center.

The company may not respond to the change request in the following cases:

  • If a paid conversion subscriber applies for a change without paying the fee, etc.
  • If a subscriber of a terminal device subject to seizure, provisional seizure, or provisional disposition applies for a change
  • If a person who has violated the subscription contract or individual agreement with the company applies for a change
  • If a person who does not have the authority to request a change applies for a change

Cancel service

The contractor may cancel the contract at any time.

If the contractor transfers a vehicle equipped with a terminal device to a third party, the contractor must cancel the existing contract.

To cancel the contract, the contractor must notify the cancellation through the connectivity call center. At this time, the contract holder may be asked to submit a termination application and required documents (see the 'Vehicle rental and resale' page).

Note: If you do not request termination, you may continue to be charged fees even if you do not use the service.

If you do not delete the vehicle in the Mobile app when canceling the service, there is a possibility of theft, security, and privacy infringement, such as unlocking the doors of the vehicle sold to the existing owner account, starting and driving, vehicle location, and driving history.

Temporary suspension of the service

The company may temporarily suspend provision of services in the event of equipment maintenance, inspection, replacement, breakdown, communication outage, etc.

The company may restrict or suspend all or part of the Service if normal service provision is impossible due to a national emergency, power outage, service facility failure, or service usage surge.

The company may temporarily suspend provision of services in the following cases:
  • In case of regular or urgent system maintenance
  • In case of service provision becoming impossible due to fire, power outage, etc.
  • In case of service provision becoming impossible due to natural disasters, war, riots, commotions, labor disputes, etc.
  • In case of communication service suspension by telecommunications carriers including mobile telecommunications companies
  • In case of communication failure in terminal devices
  • In case of arbitrary repairs or detachment of terminals and vehicles
  • In case of power supply to terminals being interrupted due to vehicle battery discharge, severe impact, etc.
  • In case of GPS satellite radio reception interference, etc., in an area where radio reception is not smooth or radio waves cannot be recognized
  • In case of commercial use of GPS satellite service itself becoming impossible
  • In addition, in case the company determines that temporary suspension of service provision is necessary for operational or technical reasons
