Operating principle

After the vehicle starts moving, the system automatically locks the doors when you reach a speed of approximately 6 mph (10 km/h).

To unlock the doors:

  • press the central unlocking switch 7;
  • with the vehicle stationary, open one of the front doors from the inside of the vehicle.

Note: if a door is opened or closed, it will automatically lock again when the vehicle reaches a speed of approximately 6 mph (10 km/h).

Activating/deactivating the function

To activate: with the vehicle stationary and the engine running, press switch 7 until a beep sounds.

To deactivate: with the vehicle stationary and the engine running, press the switch 7 until two beeps sound.

Operating Faults

If you notice a malfunction (automatic locking impossible), check that the doors are correctly closed. If they are properly closed and there is still a fault, contact an approved dealer.

Also make sure that locking has not been inadvertently deactivated.

If this is the case, reactivate it.

Driver’s responsibility

If you decide to keep the doors locked when you are driving, remember that it may be more difficult for the emergency services to gain access to the passenger compartment in the event of an emergency.
