Renault Kardian Latam

warning

Driver's responsibility

Never leave a child, a dependent adult or an animal inside the vehicle with the key or the card, even for a short time.

They may pose a risk to themselves or to others by starting the engine or activating equipment (such as the gear lever or electric windows).

If any part of the body becomes trapped, reverse the direction of the window immediately by pressing the relevant switch.

Risk of serious injury

From the driver's seat

The electric windows operate with the ignition switched on.

Press the window switch down or pull it up to lower or raise the window to the desired height.

Use switch 1 for the driver's window, switch 2 for the front passenger's window and switches 3 and 5 for the rear passenger windows.

warning

Safety of rear occupants

The driver can inhibit the operation of the rear electric windows by pressing the switch 4.

warning

When closing the windows, make sure that no part of your body (arm, hand, etc.) is outside the vehicle.

Risk of serious injury

Note: if the window detects resistance when closing (e.g. a tree branch) it stops and then lowers again by a few centimetres.

From the front passenger seat

Activate the switch 6.

In the rear passenger seat

Activate the switch 7.

Note: the rear windows do not open fully.

tip

Avoid resting any objects against a half-open window: there is a risk that the window winder could be damaged.

One-touch mode

The mode works in addition to the operation of the electric windows described above.

Quickly or pull the window switch as far as possible to fully open or close the window. Pressing the switch again will interrupt the window movement.

Impossible to operate the one-touch electric window

The one-touch electric window is equipped with protection against overheating: if you press the window switch too many times within a few minutes, it will enter protection mode (locking the window).

You can:

  • use the electric window switch briefly, with intervals of approximately 30 seconds;
  • with the engine running, the window will unlock after approximately 20 minutes of inaction on the electric window switch.

Note: if the window detects resistance when closing (e.g. a tree branch) it stops and then lowers again by a few centimetres.
