Trip computer A or B

Depending on the vehicle, this includes the following functions:

  • distance travelled;
  • journey parameters;
  • information messages;
  • operating fault messages (related to the 1_ALL_036_1_pictogramme.png warning light);
  • warning messages (related to the 1_ALL_040_1_pictogramme.png warning light);

The functions are displayed in zones 5 and 6.

Press the control 1 to navigate between zones and select functions by repeatedly pressing control 2 or 3.

Use control 4 to reset the trip computer functions.

The functions are displayed in zone 5.

Select the functions by repeatedly pressing control 2 or 3.

Selections

(the information displayed depends on the vehicle's equipment and the country)

a) Trip log, information message readout and operating faults;

b) journey parameters:

  • current fuel consumption;

c) trip mileage recorder;

d) reset the tyre pressure;

e) service and oil change interval:

  • service interval;
  • oil change interval.

With one of the journey parameters selected on the display, press and hold the switch 4 "OK" until the display resets to zero.

Interpreting some of the values displayed on the multimedia screen after the last reset

The average fuel consumption and average speed values will become more stable and reliable the further you travel after pressing the reset button.

The average fuel consumption may decrease when:

  • the vehicle stops accelerating;
  • the engine reaches its operating temperature (if the engine was cold when reset button was pressed);
  • when driving from an urban area onto the open road.

Automatic reset of the journey parameters

Resetting occurs automatically when the maximum value of any of the parameters is exceeded.
