Operating fault messages

They are displayed accompanied by the warning light and indicate that you should drive very carefully to an approved dealer as soon as possible. If you fail to follow this recommendation, you risk damaging your vehicle. They disappear when the display selection key is pressed or after several seconds and are stored in the computer log. The warning light stays on. Examples of operating fault messages are given on the following pages.
Examples of messages	Interpreting the display selected
« Check vehicle »	Indicates a fault with one of the pedal sensors, the battery management system or the oil level sensor.
« WARNING: Check Airbag »	Indicates a fault in the vehicle’s particle filter system or with the seatbelts. It is possible that they will not operate in the event of an accident.
