No image is displayed.

The screen is on standby.

Ensure that the screen is not on standby.

The system is in protection mode (Safety mode), it:

  • does not switch on;
  • has stopped;
  • does not start.

The interior temperature of the vehicle is too low or too high.

A message appears on the screen: "System temperature is high."

If the multimedia system does not restart, contact an approved dealer.

The vehicle is switched off.

Restart your vehicle.

No sound can be heard.

The volume is set to minimum or the "mute" function is activated.

Increase the volume or deactivate the "mute" function.

The selected system source is not correct.

Check the selected system source and make sure the output source is the multimedia system.

No sound comes from the left, right, front or rear speakers.

The balance or fader settings are incorrect.

Adjust the sound balance or fader correctly.

SYSTEM

The displayed time is not correct.

The time setting is set to "Auto" and the system is no longer receiving a GPS signal.

With "Navigation": drive your vehicle until a GPS signal is received.

Without "Navigation": see the section entitled "System settings" to adjust the time.

Certain items on the menu are not available.

Some functions are not available while the vehicle is moving.

NAVIGATION

No sound can be heard.

The volume on the "Nav" menu is muted or set to minimum.

Increase the volume ("Options" in the "Nav" menu) or deactivate the mute function.

The volume in GPS mode can be adjusted during voice guidance.

The location of the vehicle on the screen does not correspond to its actual location.

Incorrect positioning of the vehicle caused by GPS reception.

Move the vehicle until reception of the GPS signal is improved.

The multimedia system card version is obsolete.

Update the multimedia system card.

The directions on the screen do not correspond to the actual road.

The version of system is out of date.

Obtain the latest version of the system.

Certain items on the menu are not available.

Depending on the current command, some items will be unavailable.

Voice guidance is unavailable.

The navigation system does not take account of the intersection or voice guidance is deactivated.

Increase the volume.

Ensure voice guidance is activated.

The directions of the voice guidance do not correspond to your exact location.

The voice guidance may vary according to the environment.

Drive according to the actual conditions.

The suggested route does not start or end at the required destination.

The destination is not yet recognised by the system.

Enter a road near to the required destination.

Update the multimedia system card.

Phone

PHONE

No sounds or ringtone can be heard.

The mobile phone is not connected to the system.

The volume is set to minimum or the "mute" function is activated.

Check that the mobile phone is switched on or connected to the system.

Increase the ringtone volume or deactivate the "mute" function.

Check the selected system source and make sure the output source is the multimedia system.

Impossible to make a call.

The mobile phone is not connected to the system.

The phone has been locked.

Check that the mobile phone is switched on or connected to the system.

Unlock the phone.

The multimedia system has encountered an operational problem.

Restart the multimedia system by pressing and holding the "On/Off" button until the screen turns off.

My contact list is not displayed.

There are too many contacts.

Wait for the synchronisation to end.

Access to the phone directory is not permitted.

Check that access to the phonebook is authorised from the vehicle's multimedia system.

No sound can be heard.

The volume is set to minimum or the "mute" function is activated.

Increase the volume or deactivate the "mute" function.

The audio source is not switched on or connected to the system.

No external audio source (MP3 player, portable audio player, USB drive, phone, etc.) is recognised by the multimedia system.

Several audio sources were disconnected during operation.

Android Auto™/CarPlay™ is not configured correctly on your smartphone.

Visit your smartphone manufacturer's website to find out the technical specifications.

Your smartphone is not compatible with the WIFI connection to the multimedia system.

The USB cable is not compatible with data transfer.

Use a USB cable recommended by the telephone manufacturer for correct functioning of the application.

The audio source is no longer recognised by the multimedia system during operation.

Restart the multimedia system by pressing and holding the "On/Off" button until the screen turns off.

MEDIA

Audio source operation fault (voice recognition not enabled with SIRI/CarPlay™/Android Auto™, MP3 player, portable audio player, phone, etc.).

The audio source is no longer recognised by the multimedia system during operation.

Restart the multimedia system by pressing and holding the "On/Off" button until the screen turns off.

The USB cable is not compatible with data transfer.

Use a USB cable recommended by the telephone manufacturer for correct functioning of the application.

Android Auto™/CarPlay™ operation fault.

Phone system, Android Auto™, CarPlay™ or application update interfering with the Android Auto™/CarPlay™ replication function.

Downgrade to the previous version or refer to the Android Auto™/CarPlay™ settings for your smartphone brand.

Operational fault with geo-tracking applications.

The network is unavailable.

Geo-tracking is not activated on your phone.

Find a location with a strong signal reception.

Activate geo-tracking on your telephone.

Android Auto™WIFI operating fault.

Your smartphone may not be compatible with the Android Auto™ wireless replication function.

Check whether your smartphone is compatible with the Android Auto™ wireless replication function.

Android Auto™/CarPlay™WIFI operating fault.

The "WIFI" function is not activated on the multimedia system.

Activate the "WIFI" function from the multimedia system menu.

MEDIA

Android Auto™/CarPlay™WIFI operating fault.

The "WIFI" country is not configured on the correct channel of the multimedia system.

Configure the country via the "WIFI" function in the multimedia system menu.

Android Auto™/CarPlay™WIFI operating fault.

"Connection fault" message.

The "Connection fault" message may appear for certain smartphones when switched off, connected via WIFI or in native app mode (Radio, Navigation, etc.).

No effect other than the message appearing inadvertently. No solution (smartphone fault) except leaving the smartphone switched on or in Android Auto™/CarPlay™ mode.

Problem playing a video.

The video format is not readable or compatible with the vehicle's multimedia system.

Check the video format.
